Helping save lives, one at a time

What is this project all about?

With cardiovascular diseases accounting for just over 32% of deaths globally; my project focuses on teaching BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support) in rural areas (primarily villages) with little to no medical accessibility. I focused on high-risk environments such as factories and conducted sessions with first responders in urban environments – in this case the Delhi Police. As a trained BCLS instructor, I used my knowledge to help communities in India conducting 20+ CPR sessions teaching 2,000+ people. Working with local institutions and grassroot leaders, I spread awareness regarding the importance of basic first aid knowledge. Having achieved a considerable amount, this initiative is far from over. Looking to the future; I am currently producing a series of instructional videos outlining how to conduct CPR. Furthermore, I applied for funding to establish ambulance infrastructure in rural areas, I look forward to further expanding this initiative.
